Photo 2
Photo Sculpture9/13/2018 I took this photo of Avery Martin and i just told her to run and jump and i got her while she was in the air, and i thought it would have looked cool to get the foreground middle and background as she's in the air. I built this photo by printing out the three images and and the cutting her out and then cutting her and the background out, and then i used the cardboard to put underneath to make it look 3 dimensional. And what i liked about the end result of my project is probably how it turned out and the way it looks, i didn’t expect it to come out the way it did.
The reason i took this photo was because i thought it would have been unique and i didnt think anyone else would have something like it. Also the girl in the photograph i took is always happy when shes doing the little jump thing in the air, so i thought it would have been cute to et her like this in the air because it makes her happy. But i wish i would have got her the other way so you can see her smiling i feel like it would have made the photo 10 times better.

Leave a Reply. Drugs And Alcohol Abuse
As a teenager in contemporary society, living under the pressure to attempt to have fun while trying to do what's best for my future. I know how to make choices that benefit me, however many teenagers don't know how to say no and will fall into the peer pressure. Drinking and doing drugs just to fit in is very common and not a good thing. I've looked around and have seen so many friends and peers around me go down hill including myself, i may not have made the best decisions in my life but i do learn from those mistakes. Great students, all their hard work down the drain just to fit in. Drugs and alcohol consume people's lives and it affects far more people than just the user. 78% of teens have at some point drank alcohol, and 81% of teens have had the opportunity to use illicit substances. These statistics baffle me. How do these teens who are not the legal age even get the opportunity? Is it that easy? Some people may say that there are more important issues or even that this topic is stupid, however i chose to take pictures to represent this issue, because it affects everyone and puts lives at risk. With this high of percentages means it could happen to anyone your friends or family members. It should not be this easy for a young teen to get these items in the first place. This directly relates to me and i find this topic very serious because i lost my grandma due to a drunk driver and it is very tragic, because so many lives are at risk if you are under the influence. Drugs and alcohol are perceived as “cool” among young people. The biggest problem is teens do not understand how to drink alcohol responsibly and do not understand the risks or consequences associated with drugs. They do not think about their futures, because teens live in the now. They want to be cool, fit in, and have fun, but it is not all fun and games. Is it worth it? Not at all. There are so many alcohol related deaths per year drinking and driving causes over 25,000 deaths a year. Overall 100,000 deaths occur each year due to the effects of alcohol. And along with drugs about 200 million people worldwide use illegal drugs each year. Illegal drug use causes about a quarter of a million deaths per year. But the message of this goes far beyond than what the title states. Which is going to help people in the long run? Being “cool” or putting the drugs and alcohol down in order to actually have a future. Any song that comes on all you hear them talking about is different types of drugs, promoting behavior that could ruin someone’s life. How long does the feeling of being “cool” last? |
